1. 4x(2xy - y -1)
2. 6x^3y^3(6x^2y^2 - 2x + y)
3. (x + 3)(x - 1)
4. 3(x + 3)(x - 3)
5.(3y + 4)(2y - 5)
6. prime; if you're doing complex numbers, you could factor it into (y + 5i)(y - 5i)
7. 5n(n + 1)(n + 3)
8.2(7x-2)^2
9. (y^2 + 3)(y^4 - 3y^2 +9)
10. 3x(3x +1)(9x^2 - 3x + 1)

3x^2 - 27
= 3(x^2-9)
= 3(x-3)(x+3)

6y^2 - 7y -20
= 6y^2-15y+8y-20
= 3y(2y-5)+4(2y-5)
= (3y+4)(2y-5)

x^2 + 2x -3
= x^2-x+3x-3
= x(x-1)+3(x-1)
= (X+3)(x-1)

y^2 + 25
= y^2-(-25)
= [y-(-25)^.5][y+(-25)^.5]
= [y-5i][y+5i]
where i=(-1)^0.5

I only do th4 last one

3x(1+27x^3)

sone of yours quesytions can not be factored ( that is not in R )

Y^2 + 25 = (y-5i)(y+5i) ( in C )
