Airlines have different guidelines. Most cut cut off in the third trimester. Some airlines will even not allow ANY pregnant women on flights over so many hours. My cousin-in-law had a trip planned to Paris (16 hours) and they told her no and she was only 18 weeks! But they said anywhere with a flight of less than 6 hours. That was about 4 years ago, I don't remember which one. Best to check before making plans!

Some say the whole third trimester, others it is up to 35 weeks. You need to call the airline you plan on taking and see what they require, some want a note from your doctor, some want to be able to talk to your doctor, it just depends on the airline.
Also at anytime you must have okay from your doctor and if they feel it is safe for you to fly. Always get a doctor and hospital referral from your doctor while you are on your trip in case you need to be seen.

My sister-in-law is 7 months along... they flew in an airplane, I'm not sure which airline, but I don't think they had any problems.. I'd definitely ask the airline before you go wasting your money on tickets you can't use! Good Luck! I also attached a link so you can read up about it a little..

Depends on the airline...most wont let you fly in the 3rd trimester (which starts at 27weeks) even with a dr's note. Call the airline you want to fly with and ask them because they are all different. Delta wouldnt let me fly at 24weeks, even with a dr's note.

Its the airlines decision. Some will let you fly up until your due date actaully. I flew in my 8th month after consulting with my doctor, and Alaska Airlines said nothing to me.. I also didnt ask permission. Its none of their business... The reason they originally started denying flights to heavily pregnant women was the cabin pressure.. which they have improved over the years.. You just need to call them and ask.

32-34 depending on the airline. You need a letter after 28 weeks saying that you are fit to fly.
It's very hard to get travel insurance after 32 weeks.

most airlines won't let you board if you are in you last month, due to the fact that the stress from flying can cause labor and no one wants to deliver a baby at thirty thousand feet!

i think only until your 3rd trimester after that you can't, i know i was unable to fly when i was bearly 7 months with my middle child. It depends on your doc and the airline.
