The mercedes of drums is DW-but like a mercedes, they are expensive! I have used a Yamaha Oak kit-its the loudest kit ive used. I own a Yamaha Rydeen-its the best set for the price range (600) in my opinion (the Pearl Export/Import whatever the hell its called-is good too i hear)-or if you want to spend alittle more than that, buy a gretsch catalina birch.

Avoid Ddrum, Pulse, Tama (not because Tama is bad, but because ur basically paying for the name, unless you want to buy their high-end stuff like the Starclassic).

Being a drummer since I was 12, both Yamaha and DW are superior. You'd be hard pressed to find out which is superior to the other in either. I wouldn't go by which one is cheapest in price though, considering you usually get what you pay for.

nicely its no longer undesirable. electric does have its advantages! you may regulate the sounds from electro to jazz on a electric, on the same time as acoustic would have the skill to easily play acoustic. you get me? plus, electric is extra fee-effective.
