OK, we had a really successful first date -- it's only been 2 days but I still haven't heard from him. I don't wanna appear like an obsessive stalker or anything, so how long should I wait to call him before he calls me?
And if it matters, we did sleep together.

Another thing, he just started a new job and I'm out of town, so things are busy right now for both of us. I was thinking of waiting until around X-Mas Eve to make contact if there isn't any by then, but thanks for all of your advice. I'm starting to think maybe I should just call him.

Wait until either you are back in town or if you are still out of town on Xmas, just call to wish him a Merry Xmas. It will let him know that he has been on your mind, and since you have both been so busy, its common to not contact.

Call him if you want to. If he thinks you're a stalker, then so be it. There are other people in the world.

I would have not waited two days -- if I had enjoyed the first date (complete with physical passion), I couldn't wait. Well, that it is just me. Please do the opposite of what I would have done myself... I am just a very impatient person.

Truth be told, he's probably obsessing over the very same thing, everyone is always so concerned with appearing over-zealous or needy. Call him. There is no pride in matters of the heart.
