Why not. I'm not gay but I see no problem with the gay community, they should be allowed to do Anything they want, be who they want, and have no opportunity limitations.

Not for a loooong time.
Of the current generation of men old enough to be President, too many gay men have spent much of their lives having clandestine relationships which unfortunately puts them in a precarious position when it comes to running for office.
Secret sexual relationships (no matter what the gender involved) have been the downfall of lots of politicians.
Plus, the public perception of gay men is that they have many, many, sexual partners over the course of their lives. Neither a woman nor a man who is perceived as having had more than a dozen sexual partners is likely to be elected in the near future.

in the u.s it is unlikely that an openly gay person could run and be elected as president.
not sure about other countries though, but when women and minorities are still making headlines when they are a first to accomplish something, it is unlikely that a gay president will be elected anytime soon.

Besides, if you study the history of presidents, there have already been a few gay presidents.

Hell No, all the democrats and republicans would work together to make sure that their will never be a gay president.
They won't let them serve in the military so why would they let them be a president.
