If you hate gays so much, stay out of the GLBT section!!! That makes no sense! Or maybe you're all in the closet and the only release you have from your repressed world is Yahoo! GLBT section. Am I right? You people are so pathetic. For people who hate gays a lot, you really do like hanging around them. There's got to be more to your story.

The reason they come to your section is to shoot more accurately being closer to their targets. Hate mongers are more incensed at this time of year because people who love each other are sharing more good times together. Homophobes get all riled up when people who aren't full of bile or evil, start sharing their love and joy with others. The Homophobes want to hurt you more during a heartfelt season. Short Point: They go there to get a better shot at you and soak up some more ideas on how to do it better next time. Pity them, if you can. Happy Holidays!

I don't know the answer to that, or to the question about why atheists plague the religion section with insults. I'm not gay, but I say everyone is equal. I have gay friends and they're some of the most caring, funniest people around. I agree that some of the people who do come on this site to insult gays, are stifled in their closets

Being homosexual is one of the few categories that are left that is acceptable for folks to express judgments against.
These folks are most likely racial bigots and do not tolerate diversity of any type.
Some justify their hatred by standing behind religious reasons. Homosexuality in the Christian bible is cited.
The truth is being gay is no more of a sin than working on the Sabbath or shaving ones face or hundreds of other wacky biblical sins. How many would even think of looking at children born out of wedlock and saying that according to gods teachings that they are condemned to hell?
And how many of these folks can even say they were able to follow even the basics teachings of the Ten Commandments?

They come here because they know they can!
They know their posts will remain up for viewing for at least 24-72hrs, meanwhile they have posted several posts all of the same nature.
They know Yahoo! is powerless because Yahoo! only cares about the number of hits/clicks a posting gets. Because it's a free site, clicks=money from advertisers therefore Yahoo! is complascent as to removing the posts or the offenders from their site.

Homophobes come onto here to rant for the same reasons the racists do: the anonymity and the resulting thrill of getting away with it. Although, I must admit- maybe they're using the anonymity part in a half-baked attempt to come out to themselves (albeit unconsciously). Who knows.

I believe it to be some form of jealousy. Anybody who can operate outside the norm has a level of freedom most people don't have. It's there, they can take it if they want, but they're afraid of it.
It's the same reason my mother gets mad at me. I do things I like that most people would consider strange, and I do so without care as to what others think. She, on the other hand, sticks strictly to "normal", which is a hard life to live.

lol EXACTLY!!! I don't know what they feel they are going to accomplish... not like anyone cares enough about what they have to say that they're going to slit thier wrists over it.
To me, if you feel you need to go and use up all your spare time doing something as unproductive as telling gay people you don't like them, then you are a waste of a human being! Plain and simple!!
If you feel like complaining go yell at the guy stealing people's accounts over the computer or yell at the guy who kills people on the street.
What these people think they're actually accomplishing is beyond me... not like we're going to stop being gay because someone doesn't like us lol !!! Would that guy stop dating blondes because someone told him he shouldn't date them? Doubt it!!!

I think most out spoken homophobes are just covering thoughts and fantasies they have, and wish they had the guts to try something new. Or is it that they have try-ed and do it to cover up what they are really like in the bedroom to there family and friends.
