One of my cats was awesome for that! We eventually got tired of picking them up so we put a cat nip toy under the tree. It was round with a ball they could spend spinning in circles. The center had the catnip. Eventually the ornaments stayed on & the cat was either high or had forgotton about the ornaments. It was hysterical at times too. Good luck!

To my surprise, my tree and ornaments have not been bothered. I have a Himalayan male cat 4 yrs old and he hasn't touched one thing on my tree, he loves looking at the lights, but that's it. I guess I might be in the minority because I've seen numerous post here about this subject.

Yeah the ornaments are making it just fine. It's the dog that thinks that he has his own personal litter box inside the house. He keeps marking the tree.
