Only if the person in question is cool, sexuality doesn't determine coolness, people do. Although recently it has seemed it is cool to be gay, personally I don't adhere to this belief. Gay doesn't mean one thing or another in regards to coolness.

cool is a relative term. Video games are cool to some people, football is cool to some people, certain types of music are cool to some people. I do not think a straight person thinks it is cool to be gay. That is why they are straight.

It's a lifestyle, and way of being - not a choice. "Cool" is relative. Is it cool to be human? To be a man, or a woman?
Being gay just IS - what people think of it is individual and has no bearing on gayness.
What's "cool" is being yourself in the face of diversity.

It's cool to be yourself ;) Being gay is certainly fashionable, though. Or at least it used to be. I think now sometimes it's just assumed, haha.

Its cool to be you.....like skin color , it makes no different what you are, what makes a difference is the impact you make on other peoples lives. We need to quit making minorities and start being people, one people. What we look like , and who we choose to be intimate with should make no difference, as long as we don't push our beliefs on anyone. Live and let live....with slight discretion!

I don't know that "cool" is the way to go. My girlfriend's brother thought it was, because of the group he was in. He's an actor and tried hard to fit in by saying he was "bisexual" ... He wasn't, but he tried.
I suppose it depends on what circles you run in.
