Yes. I visit www.cardweb.com and find the best deals on credit cards, then I apply online. I have applied for 2 different cards this way, with no bad results.
I always make sure the web site starts with https: when I am giving any personal information online. This means the site is using a secure certificate and the information will be encrypted.

I would not apply on-line. Also, you may want to be very careful about what cards you apply for. Do some research and choose a card that will benefit you for years to come. You do not want to open a card and close it in a couple months or years. The goal is to establish credit history. I did not know a lot about credit when I was younger and I applied for a lot of cards. Every time there is an inquiry to your credit and you are denied, there is a ding on your credit history. There is a great book out by Suze Orzman (I think that is how she spells her name) it is called Young, Broke and Fabulous. It is a great book to learn about establishing credit, home and car loans and what makes up your FICO score. I know this is more than you asked but I wish I would have read this book when I was young. Hope this helps!

I in many circumstances see human beings construct their credit rankings WITH charge playing cards. I did besides. so a procedures as i understand, maximum mastercard businesses provides you you with a mastercard, see you later as they see that you've the flexibility to pay the invoice. (ie. pastime, different source of income, and so on.) charge playing cards are which will construct an excellent credit status, yet undesirable at the same time. you basically favor to easily be confident you save on the funds. do not make late funds, and take a verify out now to not bypass over your decrease. see you later as you may save your stability LOW and also you're to blame with it, you have to be fantastic. desire this facilitates!-
