I don't think they are preventable unless you just don't use eye liner or anything. I wash my face every night but almost every morning when I wake up I have them in the corners of my eyes

Try not getting any in your eyes or putting it on the bottom lid line, or use a different brand..maybe try a liquid eyeliner instead. I used to get this a lot, not while I was wearing it but after I took my makeup off, I'd have black in the corner of my eyes.
By the way, putting it on the bottom lid not only makes your eyes pop out more, but makes them incredibly smaller looking. Try to avoid it, especially if you have smaller eyes to begin with. If you want a similar effect but a not so harsh look, put some black eyeliner thinly under your bottom lashes and then sweep lightly with a gray eyeshadow. This will soften the line but it's still a dark look if that's what you want to achieve.

Don't put the line all the way to your tear duct. Also if you use a little Visine before you go to bed it will wash out the makeup film that has gotten into your eye during wear and also sooths the eye so it doesn't burn when you wake up. Also when you allpy foundation you may experience the same thing. Try to avoid putting the liquid too close to your duct or use a stick or powder that you can control better

stay away from the immediate inside corner of your eye.
The tear ducts will carry any moisture in the liner like a magnet up into your eye. Also try this- pencil liner with a light coat of eyeshadow over the liner to set it.
Tip on eyeshadow- to lift eyes, arch a C shape on the outer corners of your eye, and up into the crease. Do not use this if your eyes are wide set. Do the opposite- put the shadow on the inside of your eyes only.
Did you know that the "sleep" crust in your eyes when you wake up is actually waste from dust mites? Gross isn't it? Makes you want a clean pillow case every night!

You can't its your eyes cleaning themselves out. What you can do it reframe from putting the eyelinner too close to the inner-rim of your eyes then it won't seep in the eye. Eye buggers or eye-snot is natural in all people and animals. An example would be white-coated pets have tear-staining effects, as do humans. However our eyes aren't sunk in as much as pets are so our eye junk is in the corners where it deposits.
Anibiotics help clear up the extra mucus in the sinus cavity and the eyes. Just becareful when apply to the corners of the inner rim.

Yes it most certainly does cause the ear wax for sure. Not 100% sure about the eye boogers. With the ear wax, the very fact that you are aware and therefore clean regularly stops it ever getting to infection. I have the same with one of mine and I look and clean daily otherwise it will end in a problem.

I get them too from my makeup. The only way to prevent it is to stop wearing eye makeup. I think everyone that wears eye makeup has this problem.

You are using too much eyeliner. Cut back and see if it helps.
