mega = million giga = billion yet because of the fact a byte is = 8 bits it take 1024 bytes to = a million kilobyte 0.5 of this is 512 and because it take one thousand of one unit of degree to = a million unit of the subsequent; 512 of any unit wether kilobytes, megabytes, giga bytes, and so on. will consistently be 0.5 of the subsequent bigger unit. as a result 512 Megabytes = .5 gigabytes and 1024 megabytes = a million gigabyte. basicly all of it bytes, lol.
