i think life works out for all people, and often those whom you think its going great for, have even more serious issues then you do,,,,,,,, what do you mean by life working out? money, fame, a great job? wife/husband? ,,,,those things are not always what they appear to be,,,,,,and can be lost in a minute, though yes some do achieve real happiness, i think its sometimes a combination of luck/fate/and willingness to decide what is important

This is direct and proportional in turns to the current economic system, and the ensuing economic strife present. Capitalism creates a world for the minority which is insensible because the majority of a democratic nation are suffering. As Aristotle said, "some men are born to be slaves, and others born to be masters", in such a economic system which is currently prevalent throughout the world those born to the wealthy for the most part remain wealthy, likewise is said of the poorer classes. Indeed the lack of capital creates much depression and discension among the populace in which every thought is occupied by the fact of loss, and the thought that it had taken much labour to have earned the slight currency in your arms which you are exchanging for a very low amount. Seriously this is getting worse and worse, the minimum wage currently in G8 nations is on average $7> which is riduculous considering the expenses, a Second Cup or Starbucks drink and accessory costs this much.

It's an illusion. You don't know what those who are "better off" than you go through. They aren't telling you. Everybody's got a pickle, they're just all different.
