Actually, they're made for any skin tone. I'm German and I use it in Cool ***(3 blue dots...I thnk they have different ones for how warm or cool your skin is) and it works great! It's the only foundation I've found so far that's match my skin perfectly.
I have dry skin naturally and I never have a problem with breaking out. Plus I wash my makeup off before I go to bed and I don't wear it every single day...I'm sure that helps as well.

It's an ok foundation, and the breakouts are usually person to person, so just because they broke out don't mean you will.. however if you are worried about it - go to your local Macy's/Belk/Dillards department store and get the lady at the Clinique counter to match your skin tone, their stuff is really good for sensitive skin

i got skin breakouts too after using the loreal stick foundation...ive read that thick foundations and especially ones that are in a stick form assists in accumulation of bacteria..and such foundation is only meant for stage make up...i hate foundation coz i have no faith in them..dunno which ones are good..moreover ,my dermatologist says it aggravates pimples...ill try body shop....i am using a tinted moisturiser called revlon skinlights..it acts as a sunscreen and base too...and makes my skin glow....
