I received an email from Fifth Third Bank asking me for my information. I am pretty sure this is a scam. Can I turn these guys in?

Well, there is a Fifth Third Bank:

If you feel that it's a scam, email them with the message that you received and see what they have to say about it. They could probably get a case going if it is.

well if you don't use this bank and you receive email asking for personal information, that is sure scam. even if you have an account in this bank, no real bank would ask you to provide information by email. be very careful!

I'm not sure how one might go about reporting such scams, but they are definitely scams. No legitimate bank or other financial institution will EVER ask you for account information via email. All such emails should be ignored.

Good luck tracking them down and if you do they are mostly like in some other country. The best thing you could do is contact or email Interpol police agency or the FBI but most likely they are aware already.

This is very difficult as these kind of operations keep changing their address and information so they cannot be tracked. You could try report once youve marked it as spam

financial institutions do not send out emails. if you have a bank account (or revolving credit account) with a financial institution they might send out emails regarding statements, etc. "if" you have enrolled in online banking.
