It is just part of you. Like being born with a certain color of eyes, you cannot change how you are born.
I wish you the best in acceptance of who you are and how to live a fulfilling future.

It is all in the mind. I used to indulge and still would like to indulge in gay sex. Like someone has said it is the way you are and that cannot be changed ..I mean from a Gay you cannot change to Straight but atleast you can become a "bi" by getting married or indulging in sexual practice with the opposite sex. Don't worry ..the opposite sex enjoys a lot of oral sex...so even if you have any problems getting a hard on, use your tongue a lot and they will love you..... All the best... Another suggestion which I would like to give is go and find a male masseur....get a full body massage done by him....That is more stimulating that indulging in gay sex....imagine a man touching and caressing you all over your body. ....That is a very exhilarating experience and you leave it at that without getting into sex.....This may help you in overcoming the sexual urge.

First of all: Don't take any of the advice that has been given thus far.

Secondly: Don't do anything rash.

You do not say how old you are, but if you are still very young, you may not even be gay. Many young men go through a period when they have occassional attreactions to other men. They may even experiment sexually with other men. But neither of these things make you gay. They just make you curious.

I am a gay man and have been openly and happily gay for over 25 years (I came out when I was18). I know MANY MANY gay men and most men who are truly gay hve no desire to become straight. And those few that do usually either are not truly gay or they are unhappy not because of who they are but because of what people tell them they are ("sick", "sinner", "******", etc...)

If you are TRULY gay, meaning you have no sexual attracation toward woman, then there is little you can do to truly change your orientation. You can pretend to be straight or fake it with a woman, but you will be no more happy than you are now.

The best way to be happy with who you are is to find other people who share your feelings and who you can trust.

I hope this helps and I sincerely wish you the best of everything as you figure all of this out. Just remember: No one else can make you happy unless you are first happy with yourself.

Peace my friend!

you can't decide to become gay and then decide to become straight
either you are one way or another by nature. if your nature makes you gay then you are an people should respect you for that
if you not gay then you arent
please dont say straight--wha determines straight...do gays stray from the right path that they aren't straight?

oh yeah and i read a silly comment about sexuality being determined in the womd...yes sexuality is--whether you are male female or hermaphrodite
gayness, homosexuality of any sort is a sexual affiliation determined by your personality.
so that is environment and nurture

whatever it is have respect for who you are

There are many ex-homosexuals
Many engage in one or two homosexual experiences and never do it again–a pattern reported for a third of the males with homosexual experience in one study. (1) And then there are ex-homosexuals - those who have continued in homosexual liaisons for a number of years and then chose to change not only their habits, but also the object of their desire. Sometimes this alteration occurs as the result of psychotherapy; (10) in others it is prompted by a religious or spiritual conversion. (18) Similar to the kinds of "cures" achieved by drug addicts and alcoholics, these treatments do not always remove homosexual desire or temptation. Whatever the mechanism, in a 1984 study (5) almost 2% of heterosexuals reported that at one time they considered themselves to be homosexual. It is clear that a substantial number of people are reconsidering their sexual preferences at any given time.

Be proud of who you are! I am a straight woman with 6 kids if any or all chose mates of the same sex as them i would be just as proud of them and their choices. you are who you are no need to change.

Unless you were just pretending to be gay, I don't think it is possible to become straight. Of course, if you were attracted to guys and now are attracted to girls, you may be bi. I know it may be hard, but just try and accept yourself for who you are.

Being gay is not a choice. Your sexuality was decided in the womb. Be proud of who and what you are. You have nothing to be ashamed of.

Good luck.

Go ask a Baptist minister. They think homosexuals are struggling with their affliction. They don't believe anyone is born gay. I'm not sure though. They might be more of a help.

(hahahaha!) Join the cult of Jesus Freaks known as Organised Religions, such as catholicism... These "freaks" outlaw every thing good about sex, sexual freedom, and freedom of self!

Cheers!
