Well, I think a gym membership would be more beneficial because when I received a case of slim fast for my birthday I mixed it with ice cream and made milkshakes. I think it just made me fatter...oops...not the outcome my previous boyfriend had expected. (He was the one who gave it to me) Well, he broke up with me a month later. I think that if he had given me a gym membership that I would have gone and actually lost weight and then maybe he could love me again when I became skinny. I just love to eat so much. I always told him I was just big boned. Being 5'3" and 305lbs isn't that much is it?

Why be mean? Does their being fat affect you? They have to live with it and they know they are fat. You are NOT letting them in on some secret. Sometimes it's not from eating that makes them fat. There are other reasons and believe me if the role were reversed would you like it?

Really you're doing them a favour
They should count themselves lucky they got a great friend like you,
now run before they eat you too.

I would say no, not at Christmas or any time. Would you like someone to get you a book on how to improve your manners? Would a guy with no arms like a book on how to type?

Generally speaking, a gift is a gift. But that choice of gift may be offensive to the recepient.

It is kind of mean and just might ruin any relationship one has with this person. If you don't care, go for it, I think it's hilarious.
