I heard that there is some diet that can control the seizures. I believe it's the macrobiotic diet. You can research that or research the Johns Hopkins medical center (I think they are in Boston, MA). There was a made for t.v. movie I saw years ago. It was a true story. It was about this teenage kid who had siezures and tried every med out there, and te seizures just kept getting worse. Finally they tried everymed and his mother heard about this diet through Johns Hopkins University/Med Center. It is a very strict diet and you have to be on it for a year solid, every meal, every day. At the end of the year, this kid was seizure free and never had another seizure again. It did say that some people need to be on it for up to 3 years for it to work. It is worth looking into. Good Luck!

I agree with what another poster says (although not about brain surgery): Best is to go on potent anti-seizure drugs until your body recovers. As a former seizure patient I am not aware of any natural treatments that work for epilepsy in grownups. For seizures in kids google epilepsy diet.

either anti-seizure meds, or brain surgery - depends on what causes the seizures.
