No, you have to re-install from scratch. It sucks but that is the only thing you can do with programs until they figure out a way another way. Well the only other thing you could do is remove the hard drive from your old PC and use it as a secondary hard drive in your new PC. If you don't know how to do it you can take it to Circuit City or some place. I am not sure how much they charge for something like that since I do all of my on work.

Trying to copy your games or programs from your programs folder will not work!

1. Create a "backup" disc with ALL your game files for each game.
2. Re-install your games on the new system.
3. Use the "backup" to "overwrite" or "restore" the game files you just reinstalled.

NOTE: It the NEW system has different hardware, you MAY have a problem; in which case, you can delete and try again JUST loading the "saved" games files.
MOST times it works, and once in a while, especially if your video and/or sound cards are different, it will NOT work.

Dead easy. Copy the path to your saved games folder in the old PC, just to know the access route, then copy the saved files in a diskette, pen drive,...etc. Install the game in the new PC, use Windows explorer to reach the folder where saved games should be (using the path you memorised before), then copy and paste de saved games files from your diskette/pen drive onto that folder. Voila!.

easy way is to burn them on a disc ( if the drives are not compatible - say floppy on old DVD on new - then you can get software and transfer files with a cabled connection *USB*)

as for the hard drive swap it is a simple thing just look for a place to plug it in on the motherboard - you have an example to go by - the computer will say found new hardware when you turn it on - wipe the windows files since you won't need them and all duplicated programs

You need to put your old games in the lift, press the button for the ground floor, then move them across to your new tower block, and take the lift for the new floor there.:)

Your games on your old computer should have a "save" folder where they store your saved games. Copy those files onto a disk and transfer them to your new computer.

When you install the games on your new computer, replace the save folders with your old save folders.

Yes. Simply run a UBC from machine to machine and then map the UBC port as a Drive. From there you should be able to transfer between the two.
