Meeting people that you really like or connect with online or here on Y!A, but really you may never meet that person ever in person...does it get fustrating that you can't meet your online friends?

Jessica...let me tell you I have wonderful friends in person...but I do meet people online too that I wish I could meet...you should have a balance yes...agree.

I just talk to you guys here on YA - never had an online friend before but seeing the avatars on here and reading their questions and answers make me wonder what they look like and I also know that some of them are alot more intelligent than they act which also makes me laugh. I feel like I am not spending as much times with my friends here at work b/c I'm on here when I get caught up but it has been very interesting. There is one person in particular that I would like to meet but I won't mention any names. Who knows? They might be standing right next to you in the grocery line and you would never know it.

I dont know, i think there is alot of special people out there regardless if they are online or in person, one day it would be nice to meet some off them...but if i dont i know they are still true friends cuz we connected as friends, and Merry xmas and happy new yr Im loving life !!1

I have yet to meet anyone online that I connected with, mainly because I can't get to know someone enough to know if I like them online. Although there are a few people I think it would be interesting to meet.

I have too met a really nice guy here on Y.A. and it is very frustrating..someday we hope to meet but if that day never comes, I at least know that I have a very special friend out there.

Nahh... internet world is a way for me to seperate from the real world issues. Relax...
I have met someone in person that I met online and it sucked. It really ruined my whole perception of people on the internet for a long time.

There's quite a few on here I'd love to meet. But, unfortunately, some have shown their true colors and, even though I still talk to them, I have no desire to meet them.

you can meet them...you just shouldnt for safety issues....now a days there a re a lot of sick ppl out there!....plus you shouldnt be using the internet to meet people.....live a little get out and meet people in person off the bat!

I am going through that right now with this really nice guy and I love to be able to meet him just one, just to be able to give him the biggest hug and thank him for all the help and encouragement he has given me.

Yes, I am going through that right now and not only it is frustrating but it makes me feel real sad inside. I know we have our moments together when we email each other, but it isn't the same as being able to see one another and to be able to hold and kiss each other.

yes...i actually talk to very few people...but the ones i do talk to i would love to sit down and have a cold beer or a cup of tea with...of course...but remember...impossible is nothing...you never know...the world is a weird and wonderful place all at once and stranger things have happened...keep your bat chin up...;0)
