I have Anderson windows on my home that are about 15 years old. The windos are wood but the tracks are white vinyl. Over the years the vinyl is now looking old and dingy. What do you recommend for getting the vinyl back to its original bright white color?
Thanks

HI
I AM A SERVICE ENGINEER IN THE UK, HAVE DONE IT FOR 25 YEARS, USE A CREME CLEANER, FIRST, AND THEN USE A WHITE AUTOMOTIVE COLOUR RESTORER, YOU CAN GET IT FROM ANY MOTORIST SHOP, OVER HERE WE HAVE A WHITE T-CUT PRODUCT, IT WORKS WONDERS, DO NOT USE A SOLVENT CLEANER, YOU WILL JUST BURN ANY ATMOSPHERIC DIRT INTO TO UPCV, IT TAKES A BIT OF ELBOW GREASE.

There is a good chance that the windows have been aged by UV damage and you may not be able to get them back to original white.

Vinyl residing house windows are weak to scratching, so that you need to ward off maximum cleaners. you may wash them with warm water and somewhat dish cleansing soap and use a microfiber textile (paper towels can scratch the panes). in case you get water spots from difficult water (mineral deposits on the panes) you need to apply Woolite or Murphy Oil cleansing soap, one cap finished in line with gallon of water, to sparkling them and they ought to take off the difficult water spots. you may also purchase particular "vinyl purifier" that's pricier, yet is meant to delay the existence of the residing house windows.

It may not come back. I would check with Anderson. They are mighty proud of there product (cost wise) they might replace them free.
