Going to my grandkids' house on Christmas Eve, and taking the grandkids to the motel with me. They can spend the afternoon swimming. (I'll be right there watching, of course.)
In the evening, we'll snack together, sit and talk about Christmases Past, old memories. Shower whenever, bedtime whenever.
In the morning, we'll do the continental breakfast, and then call the kids' Mom to see if Santa came. Go to their house. Open presents in the morning, big Christmas dinner late afternoon.
Home in the evening.

Going to Church for a short service in the morning, then having a family Christmas dinner with the kids and some friends followed by opening the pressies and taking indigestion remedies. I would go for a quiet night in but with 4 kids the word quiet is only a distant memory.
Happy Christmas!!!

I is opening my presents! I have a really mysterious one from my granny and I am dying to know what it is cos she siad it's something that she, my mum and I would like! oh dear!!
Another thing on the agenda is to eat all the chocolate and then fall into one of those mini comas (they mentioned it on a TV programme last year, when you eat too much your body shuts down so it can deal with all the food!) lol, hope every one has a great Christmas what ever you do!!

House sitting my cousin's Melbourne house while she and family have gone north for some sunshine. There is a drought in Australia, hasn't rained properly for months. Farmers going out of business. All the bush fires in Victoria recently joined together into one big fire around Gippsland. As soon as we got here it started to rain, bucketing down. It started last night and has not stopped. We are cold, we have no warm clothes, our dreams of sitting round the pool throwing animal parts on the barbie are wrecked. We are very happy for the Aussies, they desperately needed the rain, and the fire should be quenched by now, meanwhile we are huddled on the sofa, wrapped in duvets, drinking red wine and hoping for sunshine tomorrow. But don't feel sorry for us, we're having a lovely time really, and hope you are too

Trying to cope with the people who live next door who have no respect for anyone else. Then will be alone watching whatever I can find on tv and wishing I was with Family that live so far away. Merry Christmas to you

Christmas Eve morning we will go to Sunday School and Church like normal and then we will go to the in-laws for lunch and presents. Then we will go to my parents for presents. Christmas Day we will read the birth of Jesus from the Bible at home and open presents. For lunch we will go back to my parents and open presents with the extended family. For my husbands extended family we will get together on the 30th.
