...fellow co-workers that have gotten on my nerves all year long and are now being sweet and nice?

Don't worry about. I am not even giving these two rotten women I work with a Christmas card. I don't feel bad about it and I am tender hearted.

The way people treated you all year long makes more of a memory than being sweet right before the holidays. You are supposed to be nice all year long. I bet they are being saccharine sweet too, aren't they? I define saccharine sweet as being so sweet that it leaves that funky after taste in your mouth. I hate that.

Be nice to the people that are nice to you and don't worry about those others.

Merry Christmas!

No. Unless your office has a voluntary secret Santa that you registered for and drew someone's name, you are not obligated to give gifts to any co-worker. For that matter, gifts are an option whether it's co-workers, friends, or family. Not everyone has the money to give gifts. For some, the best they can offer is companionship to their loved ones. Never let anyone make you feel bad about not giving a gift even if they give you one.

It is sad but true that the commercial and social pressures have changed Christmas present giving into an obligation. I think that too many people feel that they have to do it even when money is in short supply. Look at the faces on Christmas shoppers these days, they don't look happy to me.

No you shouldn't feel bad, but the holidays are time of Goodwill towards man and Peace on Earth. You could "kill" them with kindness by just giving them a simple Christmas card, you will be the bigger one and it may knock them off their feet. Good luck and Happy Holidays to you.

Heck no, some people become goody two shoes around this time of year.If they got you a gift, then maybe a small one of equal price. You should never give anyone that you don't like a gift---ever.It is your money and you should spend it when you want.....Merry Christmas...

That is what is great about grab bags or secret santas. No one gets left out.

You do not have to give to everybody. But if you give some and not others, I would give the gifts privately.

I don't think you should feel bad...Christmas is not just for gifts...and I think on Christmas you should give gifts just to the people that you love...not to everyone that you know.
Buy again that's just my opinion :))

No you shouldn't feel bad, they should not expect something in return if they give you something. It's about giving and not receiving.

No,you should be able to choose who you want to give something to and who you don't that should be your own choice not someone else's.
