This question has been asked and answered in so many different ways. Do you even understand what liberty is? Liberals want to run every aspect of your life, example banning trans fat in NYC. That is a liberal ideology. Liberals think you possibly cannot make it without them. Conservatives believe that freedom and liberty is the foundation of our county. Oh by the way Bin laden and Hussein love liberals. Liberals would slap these guys on the wrist, then raise your taxes to fund their next terrorist attack.

It's as old as the old testament. Culturally, they have always been ultra conservative, and they feel like Allah has given them a decree to extinguish anyone who is a sinner.
