I believe it should. I get upset when I see the cop shows where they put a good looking lady out on the street to try to pick up a john and then arrest them. With all the crime out there is this the best use of their time. Normally they have 5 to 8 cops in these groups. And no I have never been with or tried to be with a prostitute. I just believe if both parties are willing adults then it should be legal. What is the difference in that and what happens in bars every night of the week? Is it worth the money we spend trying to stop it.

Yes it should be legal. Prostitution has existed for thousands of years. Passing laws to make it illegal is the government imposing their moral values onto the citizens and they shouldn't be doing that.

Once girls get caught up in prostitution they have no legal rights, they get abused by their pimps, and once they get a criminal record it is almost impossible for them to get legitimate work in the future. The fact that it is illegal compounds a lot of these problems and helps keep women in that line of work.

If two people meet in a bar, have drinks and have sex, I don't care.

If two people meet in a bar, have drinks and one pays the other for sex, I still don't care.

The government should stay out of the bedroom. It's none of their business who is having sex, as long as it is consenting adults.

There are many reasons why it's illegal, not the least of which is Morality (Damn Christians). Two other reasons though are disease and minors.

TOday (Last 50 years) more than any other time STD's are a real threat and parents don't want their children giving in to wild hormones and getting hooked young.

I agree with you they should make it legal, and here is how:

Prostitution is legal, but not streetwalking. Reinstitute brothels, with a Madam in charge. No pimps. The person incharge could be a guy if he is a Gigalo himself.

Put an age limit, only legal adults can follow the vocation, and have mandetory checkups every month.

All Johns must have a doccument stating that they are "Clean" and must register with the brothel, who submits their client list to a Government Office.

That should about do it.

Ok, now you touch on alot of issues. I feel harassing the ladies of the night is wrong and yet I can see why it is necessary.

First is the health issues. If they can control the ladies in making them see a Dr. and pass inspection. No problem.

Next, You know uncle Sam, He has to have a hand in it as well.

Then next, Meeting in bars and getting to know one another on a more general level is what we are about. If you pick up a prostitute it is more like piece of meat to be able to release whatever you need to release. I would think she would feel used. Prostitutes are people too. Things happen to drive a lady to do that to herself. Why add to it.
As for bars, Two people meet and then have a connection. If it leads to a more private party then fantastic for both. They both have the option to stop. Once a prostitute accepts the money it is a contract. At least that's what I am told and I personally think it stinks.

And finally, No I think they spend way to much money but some money is necessary to keep things in line.

I personally would never become a prostitute. But I think they should legalize it on the condition that they go to a doctor and have themselves checked for any STD, and they should have to show their "john" their clean bill of health. If it's between two consenting adults, then I don't see what the problem with it is. Just one of them has to pay for the services the other one provides.

nicely i'm vulnerable to decline for prostitution, through fact i do no longer believe it. yet, if it have been criminal, it may be greater suitable controlled. Our society isn't possibly shrink out for that style of element, in spite of the shown fact that it would save fairly some people out of reformatory. for my area I even have been undesirable, i'm a woman and that i in no way had to coach to prostitution. many people in my undertaking back then might have a minimum of thought approximately it. yet as quickly as you grow to be a drug broking or a prostitute, i will think of that obtaining a classic paycheck interior the destiny might grow to be tremendously disappointing. think of earning thousands of greenbacks a week of elementary money, to in basic terms thousands or a pair thousand a month at a classic job. Gotta get a job faster or later. Marijuana won't grow to be criminal through fact it quite is not controllable. it quite is not through fact it gets you intense, through fact there are maximum of issues despite in case you already are conscious of it or no longer that are no longer unlawful and get you intense. the government ought to care much less what psychological state we are in. Marijuana grows everywhere. Plus they might lose lots of money, for my area, despite in the event that they taxed it. nevertheless you ought to remember that that may not Amsterdam. Amsterdam would be Amsterdam, usa would be usa. If that's what the final public needed, then we'd have had those issues some time past.

Yes, it should be, its the oldest profession on the face of the earth. And the tax dollars that could be raised are astronomical. And besides, people are going to continue doing it anyway, so why not legalize it. The police have bigger issues to be concerned with.

yes. At the very least you can monitor the girls (and guys) for health reasons, etc. Also, it would help the economy to as madames and pimps will have to pay taxes.
