That would work, but it would be heavy, and car batteries are meant to be recharged as they are used.
You could probably get by with a smaller 6 volt battery, then find horns and lights to run from it. You still shouldn't drive at night on a busy street, though.

If you could come up with a way to charge the battery, possibly from a generator hooked up to a wheel or driven off the belt. Batteries can be heavy, but you could get a lawn tractor battery, this would be fairly light and cheap. Make sure you dont hook the generator directly up to the battery, go through a voltage regulator first. You can get this stuff at an automotive store, the battery could come from Meijers, they have them for about twenty bucks or so. I wish you the best, and hope there arent any fireworks!

it particularly is been years when you consider that i've got had a automobile with a 6V gadget. whilst i necessary to leap the motor vehicle, i'd use a 12V battery to leap start up it, and then as quickly as the engine began, I pulled the leads off in the present day and enable the vehicles generator charge the battery returned as much as the 6V charge. I in no way had any issues doing this. stable success with it.

Yep. But you best get a deep cycle marine battery if you're going to run it down and recharge it all the time.
