I can only answer #10 since I was born in 1987...definitely the Watergate Scandal! It changed presidential rights and the way the media views political figures in the White House as we know it which eventually lead to Nixon's resignation (the only resignation from a US President).

We were must more laid back than kids now, we didn't have as much to do, so we had more time to relax!! Gas was dirt cheap compared to now, so we drove around a lot, school was school, it wasn't as dangerous as now, we never heard of shootings!!!
I had a part time job after school, bought my own clothes, cigarettes (35 cents a pack). We had the Vietnam war, that was the rebel of wars for us, but all in all, it was good...I'm 51 now, and I wouldn't mind it being the 70's again, except I wouldn't want to be a teenager again.
