I do it all the time. haha but it's due to my dog one day randomly barking at the ceiling and scaring the crap out of me so i feel like there's something here but I don't know what it is. Sometimes I stay in my room when I'm at home by myself in my bed cuz I hear things and get scared.

Yeah it happens to me a lot. My husband works nights so I'm by myself at night and I hear strange noises all the time. Thank goodness I have dogs. What gets really spooky is if they hear the noise too and start barking.

I always think someone is trying to break in or that they're creeping around the living room while I'm laying in bed. It's usually the cats. If I'm in a house without pets, I get chills.

Yes! I was in the basement this morning and heard a noise that sounded like a cat crying. I think it was the furnace making a funny noise.

oh my god totally!!! its worse when my mom goes out of town and boards the dog cause i have to work so i wont be home to feed her, so then when i get home at 4am i am so freaked out that i have to lock my bedroom door, and i SWEAR it always sounds like someone is walking around in the kitchen!
on time i REALLY freaked myself out, i thought i heard something, so i went out of my room and looked around the corner down the stairs (you can see right out the front door at the bottom of the stairs and we have a glass front door). well the way the light across the street hit the columns on our front porch, one of the shadows went RIGHT across the glass of the door and it TOTALLY looked like a man standing there looking in. i just froze for like 15 minutes until i was convinced it hadnt moved and wasnt a person. i didnt sleep that night THATS for sure.

Yea!..
That's why I usually turn the radio on real low for white noise.
Everytime I'm home alone, I keep hearing this deafening silence that I can't stand!

No. I live in a house that is over 100 years old. It creaks and groans all the time.

No. I have 3 cats who are always running and playing, so there is always some sort of noise. We have a security system as well, so, really no fear of anyone unwanted coming in.
