When I read "life Partner" I think Lezzy. There is a gay and Lezzy catagory why not ask there?

Tina its a stroke of luck that determines how ur life partner ultimtely turns out. Try to go in for the qualities in a person that u feel are important instead of his looks, his monetary worth and such things. Better find someone capable of earning a decent living through his hard work and efforts rather than bask in the glory of wealth created by his ancestors.
A long courtship is often a way to judge a person. Dont go in for hurried decisions that are likely to be guided by false impressions or lust. In early days of courtship, real things generally remain uncovered. so give enough time to any relationship before u take a final decision. Relying to some extent on the experience of ur seniors also helps.

I am amused by some of the responses I see....
The first thing is you really have to know what you expect out of your life partner. What will you accept, or not accept in terms of behaviors, morals, values etc. It may sound silly but I assure you it is a recipe for success.
Make a list of the qualities that are important to you that you must have and will not settle for....here's an example:
My future mate must:
Share my religious beliefs/views/etc.
Support my work goals
Have the same financial goals
Share the same spending habits
Agree on whether it is ok to drink not drink
Speak to me in a respectful tone
Never think that it is ok to raise their hand to me or curse at me
You're list can continue, but you should figure out what the important things are and not compromise them. Never let them know what is on your "list".....Once you are dating someone and see that they may not have a quality that you have placed on your list, you must have the courage to cut them loose unless you want to settle for less than what you expect.
Things like this really are fundamental, and I can tell you people who worry about these things "later" (like after they are married) often find themselves wishing they never settled for less than what they really wanted....

First make sure you really see yourself as a good person. Once you do it will be easy to see the good in other people. Once you see the good in someone else hang out for a while and allow yourself to be yourself and love yourself and enjoy watching them be themselves and love themselves. Don't try to change them or yourself but keep being a good person based on love despite your differences. One day you'll wake up and realize you've got a great life partner.

Protect your dignity and self respect and take care of health and personality. Get very good education, build your career and prove to the people that you have capabilities to do some thing in this world.
You will see that many people will be rushing towards you and every one will wish to have links and relation with you. There will be a lots of nice men requesting you to accept their offer to be a life partner.
Therefore, please get back to your education, pray from GOD for help and guidance and request HIM for the things you need. GOD willing you will get what you are looking or waiting for.

This is one of the most difficult tasks you would ever undertake. So proceed cautiously with your head guiding you. Dont allow the heart to take over. Treat this task with due respect and do not do it all by yourself. Take help of parents and friends and trust their judgement before you say " I do."
