Titanic,


At approximately 12 p.m. on April 10, 1912, the new Royal Mail Steamer Titanic, flagship of the White Star Line, cast off from Southampton, England, on her maiden voyage to New York. She stopped at Cherbourg, France, and Queenstown (now Cobh), Ireland, picking up additional passengers and mail, as well to debark cross-channel passengers.

Titanic was started out at Southhampton, England on April, 1912 and stopped at Cherbourg, France and Queenstown, Ireland to pick up passengers. Her destination was New York. She sank 1000 miles due east of Boston, Massachusetts, and 375 miles southeast of St. John's, Newfoundland.

On its maiden voyage (April 10, 1912), the route was to head from Southampton, England to Cherbourg, France, then to Queenstown, Ireland, and then off to New York. Of course, it sank near to Newfoundland, Canada.

I left from Southampton England and headed to the bottom of the North Atlantic. However, it was meant to dock in New York.
