I will be 17 weeks tomorrow and the last couple days I have noticied myself being a little more achy is the lower abdomen, kindof a feeling of fullness, is this normal. I expected to have some discomfort in pregnancy, but I figured by this point of alot of it would go way. Anyone else have the achy feeling?? Thanks

Well, the assumption that discomfort will go away at any point in your pregnancy is pretty much way off. You will be uncomfortable for some reason or other throughout your pregnancy pretty much. So purge the expectation from your mind.

Feeling fullness is pretty normal. Your uterus is growing. If you haven't already, you would be feeling your baby's movement in the next couple of weeks.

As long as you're not feeling severe cramping accompanied by bleeding, you should be alright. If you are very concerned, please phone your doctor. This will put your mind at ease, which is what you need right now. Your baby doesn't need you to worry needlessly.

i'm 20 1/2 weeks and some days i feel really full in my abdomen, some days achy, sometime a combination of both. as you get further along you will probably feel all that even more. the baby is growing and everything is stretching. if it becomes a real bother take a Tylenol it helps some.congrats!

I get the fullness feeling too and im only 15 weeks. Ive been told its just the baby growing and moving all the stuff out of the way to do it. Unless you feel pain for long periods of time i wouldnt worrey about any feelings, they are all new

It's completely normal. Every once in a while I would feel like my belly was stretched as far as it could go, but to my amazement it would somehow get bigger. That's probably all it is, that and the baby moving around.

The fullness feeling could simply be the baby growing and the uterus stretching

Very common at that stage - it's your ligaments stretching. It will pass in a few weeks.

Your tummy is stretching to accommodate your baby. It's perfectly normal.
