Okay, being a "lady" and all, this is something I try not to ever do. One funny thing about this though is that my dad was being smart once and said that the best way to avoid embarassment if this happens in public is to walk backwards a bit (before walking forward again) so that if someone else comes towards you, it looks like you are walking into the offensive smells, not the one that left it.

Oh, dear yes. A really loud one in a store at the mall while Christmas shopping last week. Luckily the music was turned up and kinda drowned out the sound, but it was horribly smelly, too. Hubby's eyes started to water and I thought I would pass out.

We walked very quickly to the exit and then collapse laughing on a bench outside.

Yeah... talk about embarrassing...

...at a posh restaurant... I got the giggles (which I was trying to suppress) and one accidentally slipped out... very audible, luckily nothing that stimulated the olfactory sense... of course, the giggles got worse (transformed into audible snickering, because, yes, I am that juvenile)...

My lesson? Give into emotions when they occur... the alternative can be worse. Oh... did I mention this was on a date?

Right before I get off the express elevator to the upper floors, then push all the buttons inside and smile as the people get on to head up :D

Of course! I don't know what it is about flatulence but it makes people laugh except for in most cases the person standing behind you. Even then they can't help but crack a smile at some point.
