Use that! It's definitely a good helpful website. You can put in search criteria, like "female' and age range, how you know the person (family, friend, coworker, etc), and the holiday. Then you can also pick price ranges. It comes up with a bunch of cute stuff, and it could spark your interest if you see something your niece might like. There's plenty of cool stuff around $25! I mean, you could do a gift card, but if you wanted to do something more personal yet easy, this works great.

My cousin is 13, and can definitely be described as fickle. She would like nothing more than freedom, in whatever way it could come. Her mom gave her $20 last weekend and I took her to the mall, she was happy for 4 hours just walking around with me and looking at everything. I was even impressed at how frugally she spent her money. A mall gift card would defiantly be a great gift for someone that age. Perhaps even offer to take her to the mall to spend it? At that age, anyone but Mom is cool.

Gift cards can be great, but if you wont something more personal a makeup mirror that has lights is a great idea or find out what kind of music she likes.
She might even have a movie on DVD she would like.
Hope this helps and have a Merry Christmas

I hear you, there's a lot of expensive things out there that kids want. Not unless u know what kind of music she likes or what size clothes she wears (& what type of clothes she likes, cuz teenagers can be very picky) you'd be better off with a giftcard, it will avoid stress for you & she can buy whatever she wants & be happy!!! Good Luck & Happy Holidays!!!!!

I would take her to the soup kitchen (or whatever organization is doing something for the less fortunate for the holidays) and teacher her to be greatful for what she has.

Or

I would take her with the money that the iPod would cost or $25 to a toy store, buy as many toys I could and put them in a toys for tots bin.

Yes. Giftcard is the way to go for that age. Ask her parents her fave store at the local mall. (Possibly Old Navy, Abercrombie and Fitch, Claire's, something like that.)

I think you should get her a password journal. The tweens live these things. It is a journal that you program to only open to your voice and your secret password. I would have loved one of these when I was 13. I bet if you get this for her, you will be the coolest uncle ever. Hope you have a merry christmas, oh, and it is like $20.

Either a gift card or a subscription to a teen magazine. You'd be surprised how much a subscription would mean to a girl that age, it meant a lot to me at 13! Try Cosmo Girl! or Teen Magazine or both.

Ummmm SNOW MAN POOP! lol I have a neice like that- very shallow and has to have everything new and expensive out there! A gift card really would be the very best thing in your position! That way she can pick it out herself but be sure to wrap it in a huge box and throw in some marbles so she has no clue what it is! lol Merry Christmas

I think a giftcard to her favorite clothing store, or maybe the local mall.
