Of course there is no proof, that's why 'faith' is required. Faith is belief without proof.

You're going to have to define "god." As we have seen in the answers so far, "god" has been defined as the earth, flora, fauna, nature, animals, man, humanity and love. Certainly these things exist, but we already have names for them so why call them "god"?
Of course, I suspect you really mean God, the Abrahamic concept of a supernatural being who is the creator of everything. It's impossible to prove that such a being does NOT exist because we would have to examine the whole universe. But if you think that's a good reason to believe he DOES exist, then do you believe there is a purple leprechaun eating marshmallows somewhere in the universe right now? You should, because you can't prove HE doesn't exist, either.
Now some people would like to prove God exists by pointing to the complexity and order apparent in nature. The problem with this argument is the assumption that complexity and order can ONLY come about by a creator God. But every day science reveals that other processes, such as evolution, bring about the complexity we see. Just because a person is ignorant of these processes doesn't mean that a God must exist.
Another problem with the argument is that it doesn't explain how an ordered and complex God came to be. You can say "he just is, he doesn't need an explanation," but then I can turn around and say the same thing about the universe. And my presupposition is stronger than yours because the universe can be directly sensed, unlike God.
By now you can probably tell what my answer to your question is: There is insufficient evidence to believe that God exists. And there is quite a lot of evidence to believe that he is the product of the human imagination.

It's a question for a lot of people. Consider this though. If we knew God definitely did not exist then we would feel panicked about dying because it would be a dark void no where to go and no hope of anything. BUT if knew God definitely did exist, then we would feel panickeded to correct every wrong we'd ever done because we would know for a fact that we were going to have to face him. You'd be looking back over your life trying to think of every little thing, everyone would be doing this, hence panick. I'm not sure we could handle the out right truth. But that's just a thought in my head. Best Wishes to you.

If there is no proof then tell me, how does everything in our universe come to have laws and order? How does a bear know when to hibernate, or a goose know where to migrate for the winter? How did love develop or sadness? Why is there good and evil? Have you ever witnessed a baby bieng born? Have you ever wondered by what force a cell knows what to do or where to go in order to develope into the next step? Where does the human intellegence come from? What makes us never satisfied compared to animals who seem to be content on who they are and what they have? Why are there colors? Where did beauty come from?
I just have to look around to know that there is a God. The proof is everywhere in everything. The bible says that only a fool will say there is no God.

there is no proof that god exists that is what is called faith, and for most it is blind faith.
People who say "there is proof because you exist". Is like saying That martians exist because we think of them, if we didn't talk about martians then they wouldnt' exist.
Same moronic straw man argument that "the air you breathe" is proof of god, no actually there is a scientific explanation for the air we breath, we know how oxygen and molecules link and how the oxygen content has changed over the course of earth's history, and have theories on how the planet became habitable and formed through cosmic collisions. Unless you want to change the definition of god to O2, then that is not only not sufficient, but it makes a person look like a moron to make such a statement. People will question, and should, the intelligence of someone like that.

I agree there is no real proof that god exists there is also no real proof god doesnt. its really a personal choice wheter or not you believe in god. some people will and some people wont. the most important thing is that people are free to make up there own mind what to believe. with no conclusive evidence either way no one can really say who is right. so should not disrespect the beliefs of others.

I know that you are not trying to be rude but you need knowledge.
In fact, yes there is a real one god that all of us are slaves for, actually i have one thing I'm not sure if you could understand it because about it there is a big question mark which is our Souls, have you ever thought where does it come from or its contents .who made it?if its the man so why haven't anyone done just one example although we have reached a very high degree of technology!. You believe in god by two ways , no.1 is religion, no.2 is science but both have the basics of ethics if u knew them at least you do what god is telling you about .
Like; no cheating , no killing ,no hurting anyone i wont tell you not to lie because no one can live without lieng but there is white lie that doesnt harm , dont say bad words about someone you dont like while his absence , dont mis judge yourself for any consequences or somebody just give yourself the rights that should be took, all for your satisfaction in your life because without feeling satisfied you'll never taste life& acutally i asked here what life is for i found out that every one has his own mark to leave it to the other generation and whats all about is learning ,you may choose the lessons you want but sometimes lessons are teached to you from life and people,Finally what goes around comes around so do not hurt someone hurted you just leave him and you'll see god will hurt you by his own way.Remember that God bless us in every step we do .Thanks

My presence is evidence of the existence of GOD.
My theory on this is simply that God and I are one.
There is no one or nothing separate from God.
God is the Creator on the Macro Level.
We are Creators on the Micro Level.
God Creates ALL of Life.
We Create ALL of OUR OWN Life.
It is that Simple....
Me and God are Creating ALL THE TIME.
God the Creator, the Unmoved/Mover, the Alpha/Omega, does NOT Create anyone or anything Imperfect. If you think God is capable of Imperfection, then you know nothing of God. So....
Celebrate Life! Life=God=Love=You=Me=God=Life=Love
forever and ever amen.....

There is proof all around you man.
The air you breath, the day and night, the sea the sky, everything works perfectly, even storms, tornadoes and earthquakes have their function in this earth not to mention what happens outside our earth.
Now think of EVERYTHING that is required for your body to function at the same time, remove any vital organ and you are done for.
Your life is the best proof of God's existence you are created by Him.
Never forget that. Some people will not like my answer, they just hate to recognize that they need God in their lives.

Do not try to prove the existence of a "super infinite" being with the use of finite logic. You ask if there is God. I'd say you should make that question to yourself.

That is each person's own decision. And if believing there is a God makes us better persons, gives us better, happier lives, and something to look forward to when we die, which generally it does, then most people are going to opt for the answer Yes, there is a God.
