This is my first pregnancy, I conceived on the first cycle and have no known fertility problems.

I am 6 weeks (22 DPO) pregnant and I think I am losing my pregnancy symptoms. The only symptoms I have left are fatigue, a VERY small amount of cramping in my uterus (like mild menstrual cramps), and somewhat tender nipples and breasts.

Last week (5 weeks, 15 DPO) I had a lot of cramping in my uterus (horrible cramps), my breasts and nipples hurt bad, I got up in the middle of the night a week straight to urinate, and I was fatigued like I am now.

My pregnancy symptoms are only mild now! I took a pregnancy test last weekend and it was very dark and I haven't taken one since. I plan to use my last test when I get home because I am so scared I am no longer pregnant.

Why would my pregnancy symptoms nearly go away after only 2 weeks?!

My doctor won't do any tests because I am not bleeding or cramping bad.

HELP!

Thanks everyone, I know I sound crazy, but me and my husband have wanted this baby for a long time. I just don't want to lose it! :)

Symptoms do vary from day to day. It used to concern me all of the time but it is just the way that it is. You are still fatigued so you have that major symptom and it sounds like you are still having some implantation cramping. My breast tenderness often came and went. Try not to worry. Do the test to reassure yourself but all sounds well to me. Good luck and congratulations.

FIRST OF ALL.....CALM DOWN! Stress is not good for you or for baby.
There is a chance that you are actually one of the VERY lucky women who has a fairly comfortable pregnancy! I had three awful pregnancies with lots of morning sickness, fatigue, soreness, etc. etc. BUT... I am now 37 weeks along with a very healthy baby girl...and have had almost NO symptoms AT ALL! As long as you are not bleeding or cramping...you are most likely completely fine!
The reason that women get those symptoms is from their hormones changing. Usually it takes about three months before they reside...but some women are very lucky to have their bodies adjust more quickly.
Taking a pregnancy test means nothing at this point. If you were going to miscarry...#1, a pg test can be positive for a couple weeks after a completed miscarriage and #2, there is nothing that can be done to stop a miscarriage. If it is going to happen..it will.
I have had one. Just last December, I miscarried triplets at what I thought was about 16 weeks. I didn't even know that I was having a miscarriage. No cramping...light pink discharge but hardly at all and I still had pg symptoms etc. I went in for an ultrasound and found out that my babies had stopped developing at all different times and that I had been carrying them around for at least 5 weeks without any sign of life. My point is...EVERYBODY IS DIFFERENT.
Try and get some rest...relax. Your symptoms could return and you will want to be prepared. Only your doctor can tell you what is going on, but not unless you are bleeding or cramping severly....especially this early on. Wait a few weeks until they can see your baby on an ultrasound or detect the heartbeat...then you can get a better idea for whats happening.
Good luck to you and Congratulations!

Some of the first symptoms you described are just the beginning symptoms. I only cramped in the very beginning, and then that went away, whereas my breast soreness and nipple soreness had times where it came and times where it went. This may just be a phase, or you may have a symptom free pregnancy from here on in.
Although "missed" miscarriages happen, where you lose symptoms and don't expel the fetus, it is more likely at this early stage that your body would cramp up and you would experience bleeding. I think you are still pregnant...but I would call your dr and I would make it known how worried and upset you are and that it isn't good for the baby to feel this way. They can take a simple blood test to see what your horomone levels look like or even do an early ultrasound to put your mind at ease. Good luck and keep your chin up!

It's normal to lose some pregnancy symptoms at the beginning. I am currently 36 wks pregnant and the same thing happened to me. I lost some symptoms in the beginning including the cramps and nausea, but sometimes later on they came back. My breasts were hurting really bad in the beginning and then the pain went away until 35 wks in my pregnancy. Try not to stress out about it for its not good for the developing baby. You should see your doctor if you begin to bleed. But I dont think you should really worry about it right now.

The symptoms going away doesn't bother me. It's the cramping that scares me. I would talk to your doctor again and let him know how scared you are. They should be able to tell if everything is okay by a blood test. When I was 17 I had a miscarriage and even before I started bleeding they took a blood test and my hormone levels had dropped. Two days later is when it happened. So if he won't do the simple blood test I would consider finding a new OB.

Breath girl, it's okay, it's normal to lose all of your symptoms when you are further along, during my pregnancy of course I was sick as a dog, when I was around 5-10 weeks, but after that I was fine, other than a little water retention, swelling around the ankles, and fatigue I worked until it was 2 weeks before my due date, so you are fine. When you start to have real bad cramps and bleeding, then you worry!

Symptoms come and go. You will have good days and bad days... tired days and not so tired days. that's how it works. I would not be overly concerned. You will know if you miscarry. You will bleed, it's often very painful and you will just know. I would not worry about it. The stress is not good for the baby anyway :) Just let nature take it's course. You really should know if you miscarry, I have never heard of a woman miscarrying and not knowing something was terribly wrong (the bleeding is usually a very good indication!). Since you are not bleeding then I would not worry!

good grief, calm down, its perfectly normal to have symptoms ease off, and the sickness never kicks in till 6+ weeks anyway, so maybe thats on the way!! The symptoms change constantly throughout pregnancy, there is NOTHING wrong with u. i have had a misscarriage - trust me, u would know all about it!

Stop worrying so much! Every pregnancy is different and every person is different, there is no guideline as to how you should feel and for how long. Don't go by other people's experiences, ask your Doctor about your worries and calm down, stress is no good for you or the baby.

Don't worry: you're still pregnant. A miscarriage would show with bleeding. A subsiding of symptoms means nothing. Be glad you feel pretty good and relax. :) Pretty soon, you won't be feeling quite so well!
Take care.
