Go to Human Resource with your complaint. Your manager and GM are required to do something to fix the issue, or they are just as liable at your asst. manager.
So go to HR and make them aware of everything and how you told. If nothing happens from there, you have a nice lawsuit on your hands.

Good luck!

You shouldn't have to quit your job. You never did anything wrong. It's your assistand manager who has to keep an eye on his back.

What he did was not a good thing. What he did was actually shameful. If he still has some dignity left in him, he would leave the job for his misconduct. If he has the boldness to stay, be sure to stay away from that man.

Change your phone number. Now, I know that being an employee the management needs your contact number. However, changing your number is a way for you to make the statement that you don't want this person calling you. In addition, it's you saying that what he did was improper and shouldn't be continued.

File a complaint with the owner of the company. Don't even bother with lower level management.

I never been in this type of situation before, but if it were me, if at the meeting the district manager doesn't do anything to the man who said that to you, take it up to higher authority and if you need to sue your company for not doing anything about the situation! Girl this is a serious crime that was committed against you take action!

I would go the EEOC web site and read up on exactly what your rites are. I would also go to your states version of the EEOC. You may find some "what to do in this situation" materials. If you don't know, the EEOC is the Equal Employment Opportunity Council or something there abouts. I would worry too much about it, just be as calm and prepared as possible, Good luck.

You will need to contact the state and inform the of what is going on, and you can also request not to work on the same shift as him for it can be considered an hostile work environment. You should also inform your HR department as to what is going on if you have one at your work place.
By chance did you have his number logged in your phone? Unless you have witnesses it will come to your word against his, but if he has been know for making other inappropriate remarks, I am sure he will be terminated. If he is not you can look at legal actions on the creep!

Don't worry, you are in a great barganing postition, you did nothing wrong. At the least you should get a raise out of this, I'd work on getting the creep fired.

make it clear to everyone that you expect some action to come from this. And also make it clear that you don't feel comfortable working with him anymore. I might try to find out if there is any legal advice you can get for free to see what you've got on your hands, too
