I had a slight personal accident a couple of days ago and I think my girlfriend will notice the small injury this weekend. I'd rather not tell her what happened, but I don't want to lie. What should I do?

I don't see how you could avoid the truth and no tell her a lie if she asks you.

I don't know the nature of your "slight personal accident", but I think you should tell her, unless you don't mind lying to her, in which case I would think that says a lot on your relationship with her.

The truth is going to stare you right in the face every time you look in the mirror. without knowing the specifics of your "Little accident" I suggest that you tell her, you're really too upset to talk about it right now and ask her to be patient with you. "IF", you can cross that bridge your relationship has a better chance of growing stronger ( with both patience & understanding.) Be strong don't act wrong ! Lies ---will eat you up in the end and destroy trust that is a critical foundation for a lasting freindship....Unless , you're a psyhotic lier, ( and they do exist) be genuine & don't lie... good luck.

tell her the truth. what kind of relationship is it if you don't? If you made a bad mistake you'll just have to pay for it. But if you're gonna ask for advice you should say what you did.

A lot of the time withholding the truth is just as bad as lying.

one lie leads into a bigger lie. just wait and see if she asks then tell her... the truth and the whole truth.
