Are you saying you just eat RICE once a day or you are only eating once a day?

If this is an attempt to lose weight, you're shooting yourself in the foot. Eating once a day forces your body into starvation mode, which means that it's going to store as many calories as it can, so if you return to eating normally (which you will have to as rice doesn't contain many of the nutrients you need), your body is going to continue storing calories and you will put on weight.

Also, rice is starchy, which means it's a carb. And if it's white rice, that means the hull has been removed. Like white bread or white sugar, eating white rice will cause your blood sugar to spike, which also adds to weight gain. The hull, found in whole grain rice, prevents such a huge spike. You can eat white rice and not have horrible sugar spikes IF you eat it with a protein, like meat or tofu or even cheese. But again, since you seem to be eating only rice, expect to put on any weight lost PLUS some when you resume normal eating.

well, 1 ounce a day-16 ounces a pound, 1 pound every 16 days, 20 *16= 320. 320 days if you eat an ounce a day. are you anorexic? I am not trying to be a smartass but that seems a little obsessive to me.
