I have an older computer. It was customer made in 2002. The video card went bad. My system has a 2.4 ghz intel chip, 1024 worth of ram. I need an AGP card and would like to spend between 50 - 75 bucks on it.

nVidia GeForce 6200 256 MB AGP 8X DDR2. I have this one it works great. I don't recommend ATI, because ATI is not very good for games, everyone says GeForce the best gaming graphic card. I don't know where you can find it but you'll find it. Your Ram is OK. It matches with this graphic card.

Snag up low-end previous AMD or Nvidia gpu from ebay/amazon. Any will do, until eventually you're in severe vid production or hardcore gaming. and that i'm not too confident about 1GB of more beneficial memory... The equipment does not like it at the same time as the RAMs at the on the spot are not both distributable between cores. extremely, i'd recommend you to improve RAM to ddr3 or basically freshen up your disk(not bodily) to optimize your computing gadget for performance. That setup seems previous, and that i don't think of that's well worth that a lot to improve that previous hardware... i'd recommend that you keep up, yet interior the in the interim, optimize your pc so a minimum of that's not buggy/laggy.
