My friend didn't feel anyting until her 20th week and her baby is fine. She is having a girl. They say girls mover later than boys. Good luck. I am sure everything is fine. Don't worry! It's not good for the baby.

Don't worry. Its not uncommon not to feel anything until over 20 weeks or so. It is a privilege for some lucky 2nd time moms to feel movement earlier. I didn't feel flutters until I was about 23 weeks or so and even then..they were rare and not too often. As long as you hear that little beat of the heart...he/she is just fine. You will be feeling those kicks and that head in your rib cage soon enough... congrats..I have a 3 month old and I am already planning my next (last) lol...enjoy!!!

With my 2nd pregnancy my daughter Lillie didn't move until sometime in my 4th month. They say the middle to end of 2nd trimester is when the baby moves. If you have any worries ask your doctor. But as long as the heart beat has been good at your appointmetns you child to be should be fine.

With first toddlers that's elementary to initiate feeling circulation around 18-20 weeks (yet in many cases no longer faster - what you felt at 13.5 weeks could have been wind or something else, or it could desire to have been circulation i think yet that could desire to be unusual). the infant is only nevertheless very small so the movements are nevertheless very gentle and that they gets greater effective over right here couple of weeks. i does not situation in case you're nevertheless feeling some circulation and the midwife has detected the heart beat. Dopplers incredibly matter on the type you utilize them, and in case you at the instant are not in the nicely suited spot then you definately won't hear it, so do no longer panic.

I have had 3 live births and on my 4th. The others I did not feel as early as this one. I am 16 weeks now and he has been wiggling around for about 1 week now.
Every baby and every pregnancy is different. Just thank your lucky stars that you can still hear a heartbeat.
Congratulations and Good Luck!

I am 16 1/2 weeks pregnant with my 2nd and I like yourself still haven't felt my baby kick. I was wondering the same thing as you are since it is our 2nd pregnancy. I also thought like you that the 2nd one would be more noticeable to feel but I am not having any movements either. I know my baby is fine like you said yours is fine. But yes, wouldnt it be nice to feel the lil bugga already?!? :)
Congrats and Good Luck

If it makes you feel any better I had the same experience with my first child. She didn't kick till I was about 18 weeks. The doctor told me everything was fine, but I cried everyday. On the way home from work one day, as I was crying, bump!! there she went and she made up for lost time till I delivered. Good Luck and congrats!!

Have you tried laying on your back? And counting the # of kicks or movement in a 10 minute period...You should feel atleast 10 in an hours time. If not then call the doctor. But I'm sure everything is fine. You may just have a really gentle baby in there.

Everything inside is a little more stretched out from your first pregnancy. Where when you were pregnant with your first child, you could feel everything because everything was new.
