Don't get me started on Cuba -- especially since my parents escaped from there on a makeshift raft, as have thousands and thousands of other people.
Do you see any Americans moving to Cuba?
The only reason you're saying Cuba is better than America, is because you've never had to actually live in Cuba under Castro. If you had, you'd definitely be singing a different tune.

I will admit the US is not necessarily the best Country to live in. But are you even aware of the standards of living for the average Cuban citizen?! Do some research.

Every country thinks that about itself. It's called NATIONALISM, so it's quite natural.
Why does Britain's anthem say Britannia rules?
Or Germany that it is uber alles, or over all?
We're all equal, but national pride does exist.

Because it is their country. If they were from another country they would say that one was the best. It's pride for their own country.
