How far along is she? Is she doing anything abnormal? Is she doing a lot of work around the house (bending over, vacuuming, picking up heavy objects)? Is this cramping coming after intercourse? These are all reasons she could be cramping. I am 27-weeks pregnant, and after my husband and I have intercourse, I cramp miserably and the doctor says it is perfectly normal. A warm-not hot-bath with some bath oils should help. Perhaps a pregnancy band or belt (Motherhood Maternity, Mimi Maternity). I found that if I cramped for any reason other than intercourse, my belly band did wonders. It gave me some support. I hope I helped in some way or another.

What kind of cramps and how far pregnant is she? leg cramps are VERY common, i have always heard a little extra calcium can help those. If she is nearly aat term, she may be having some Braxton-Hicks contractions, not dangerous, some women have them some dont, nothing will releive them, its just the body 'practicing' for the big day.

Most cramps are caused by dehydration. Make sure she gets a full 8 glasses of water or more throughout the day and that she eats a little (not too much) salt. Have her salt her meals to taste. This will help her to keep from getting edema (the bad kind) and those pesky cramps.

If the camping is lighter than period cramping, your okay! (but you migh ask you Doctor if you feel it's something to worry about) I am prego and they told me it's normal to feel a little crampy, because your gassy, constipated, and growing! The cramping will not be forever...
But if you looking for sex...morning is a really good time!

How pregnant is she? Maybe a hot water bottle or a heating pad would help. I used to sleep on the floor with a bean bag propping myself up because it was too hard to sleep in bed. Or, have her sleep on her side with a pillow between her knees. Hope it all works out!

I got terrible leg cramps when I was pregnant. My doctor recommended that I eat bananas and drink plenty of water.

Leg cramps? Like Charlie horses? They are very common. Eat bananas, drink water, and take your vitamins.

yup, dehidration and lack of potassium will cause cramping, but if it's adominal cramps you might call the doctor, it could be false labor, or labor trying to start prematurely.... if i'ts slight crapms, around her cervix (ask her, she'll know) then you might try to massage her inside with your fingers (do not use personal vibrators or massagers internally while she's pregnant)
