I would give my mother whatever her heart's desire was. She has cancer so no amount is too much.
Do I like my aunt? Meaning, am I/were we close? If close, then 50-100$ if not close, then 50$ or whatever.
Remember, it's not about the 'cost' of the gift, it's about the giving itself.
And I'm in the 35-42 range.

I don't spend much money on my family. Maybe I'm a greedy or selfish person, or maybe I don't want my family to think I've changed since I left the house. I'm 21. I spend about $20 or $30 on my mother.

i'm 2....ugh, 29 christmas eve, and in our family our limit is 25 and my husband's family the limit is 50 and it's a gift exchange so you're not buying for everyone, but ironically, we both picked our moms. we ended up spending 57 on his mom and just over 30 on my mom.....if we had more money, i would like to spend 100 on mom's, but non-immediate family, i guess maybe half or less for your aunt question

Whatever it takes as long as she's happy. My mother has done so much for me. There is no limit. When I was in a bad accident in 2003, my mother helped nurse me back to help. At the same time my older sister took care of my kids until I was able to. Mind you, my sister is married with five kids of her own, and my mother still had my two little sisters to provide for. My mother transported me back and forth to therapy with no fuss. When I asked them, "are they doing this becuz im hurt and they feel sorry for me." They said, "No, its becuz we LOVE you, and are happy God blessed you to still be here." For their unselfish hearts and love, there is nothing, within my power, I wouldn't do for them. Now look what you've done, you got me crying. Without them and God, I dont know what I would have done. Plus my mother on a continues on a regular basis to give of herself . She helps her sister to raise her kids and the kids they have of their own. The only thing she asks for every year is that God bless us with our hearts desire and to keep us safe from harm. How about you? What is, if any, your limit, and age?
