Chargers and Saints..

2006-12-25 03:23:06 · answer #1 · answered by Anonymous · 0 0

The Bears are the best overall team in the NFC, because their defense is such an incredible obstacle for other teams to overcome. And the Chargers are the best overall team in the AFC because they have all the ingredients and a man by the name of LaDanian. However, will that be the Super Bowl matchup? Perhaps, perhaps not

I think the Saints are the second best team in the NFC...and if they don't face the Bears, I think the Saints go to the SuperBowl. The Saints will in no way even compete with the Bears in Chicago. But at home, against an NFC team, they can't be stopped. So if Seattle or the Giants can upset the Bears in Round 2 (The Bears can't be eliminated in Round 1, 'cause they have a bye), then the Super Bowl will go through New Orleans.

As for the AFC, the Charges have lost 2 games by a total of 5 points I believe. 3 to Kansas City and 2 to Baltimore. They've beaten Denver twice and some of the other elite AFC teams. Marty Ball Shmarty Ball...I don't wanna hear about it in the Playoffs. The Chargers are a confident bunch, with 8 wins in a row. The only team that can beat them are themselves. And I don't think that's gonna happen.

I pick Saints-Bolts in the SuperBowl, with the Bolts coming out on top in a shoot out. Should be fun. Should draw record crowds. By the way, Colts are had. They looked great against the Bengals on Monday Night, and everyone knows they should've lost that game. They should've lost and they looked great? They won by what 20-something and they should've lost. The Bengals tried to play the Jaguars' game. If they would've played Bengal football, they would've beat the Colts and they would be controlling their own destiny. I wanted to see the Bengals and Jaguars as the Wild Card teams, but now it looks like the Jets and who knows. If Cincinnati can beat Denver at Denver, then they got a chance, but that's a long shot.

Saints - Chargers...That's my pick.

NFC-Bears...but anyone of the playoff teams could be had...not alot of teams that have Offense, Defense and special teams...most teams in the NFC have one or two but not all 3...the Bears at Home playing there best ball have all 3, just not every week.

AFC-right now, Vince Young and the Titans are playing great football, in fact, Young sucked lasted week and the D won them a big game...LT and the San Diego Super Chargers look really good, but, look at how Martyball does in the playoffs...not well.

so i go with... NFC-The Bears, with the Cowboys and Giants close behind. Philly gets in the playoffs look for them to make some noise!

AFC-Titans...but the Chargers are right there, and you can't give up on Brady and the Pats...and who would want to play the Steelers if they get in? For that matter, who would want to play Ray Lewis, Ed Reed and the rest of the Ravens D?

NFC-- Cowboys have the best shot at going to the superbowl.. tface it bears fans, you have had a very easy schedule and have struggled against good teams. Saints will lack the D in the playoffs.

AFC. Tough to say right now. Chargers are playing the best right now. But I would never count the Colts out. They looked the other night.

Well going by reccords, Bears from the NFC and Chargers from the AFC. I'd be inclined to pick the Saints for the superbowl against the Chargers though, just because I like their colors better. Just kidding, I like their offense better than the Bears, and I don't know if the Bears have what it takes to stop Brees to Horn and Colston or the McAlister-Bush running attack.

I'm likely to pick the Chargers for the AFC and the Saints for the NFC mainly because they are my hometown team. Geaux Saints!
