I called Directv to reschedule my installation since they did not show up and my cell phone dropped the call. 30 seconds later I get a call from a private # and it is the same lady from directv and she says "Nobody hangs up on me you ****** *****!" Wondering what I should do about it since all they offered me for my trouble is a free month of service. She could have all my private info.

I would also contact your cell phone company and ask to have your number changed. Most of them will give you one number change for free. Even though it is a pain, it may save you some trouble in the long run.
I also had a stalker and learned the hard way that sometimes drastic measures need to be taken. Protect yourself. My roommate and I filed a restraining order, changed, unlisted and blocked our phone number (BTW- legally they don't need a phone number it is just easier for them to harrass you that way), and had a security system put in our apartment.

Remember, it is you or them. There won't be a police officer standing by your side when this psycho comes knocking on your door. Tell them what you expect (harrassment by a service provider is illegal) and be prepared.

Good luck.

They have records of the calls on your account and who you spoke with. Call them and ask to speak with a customer service manager. When you get the person, ask their title. Then ask to speak with their boss. Do not tell them why. Just tell them you want to speak with someone higher up. When you get that person, ask their title. Make sure you feel comfortable that this person is above a supervisor or dept manager. Tell them what happened and that you intend to press charges. That should at least get that person fired. I would also make a police report since this person is privy to your SSN and personal information.

Call them direct, ask for a supervisor and tell them what happened. If all else fails, call the police.
