Actually I can honestly say I like it. My relatives make a delicous fruit cake and it takes 3 weeks to make one!! But it's fantastic!!!!!!!
I think people say they hate just because for some reason it has a bad stigma. There are people who say they hated it and haven't even tried it.

Absolutely disguisting. Hate it. I mean this cake has a shelf life of like 30 years now tell me how they do that. I much prefer fresh cake. No fruit.

I don't really think many people really like fruit cake. I don't, my kids don't. The only good one I tasted was like 20 years ago, sold at Sears.

really fruit cake its not my preference cake,but wen i eat one ,it has to be light fruit cake the colour i mean and should have white icing on it.but what i like is the Christmas yuk log made from Vachon cake we could by it in any stores,yum yum............Happy Holidays.

if it has 75 percent nuts i like it but i cant stand the candied fruits. i rather have a nut cake with cherries

hate the majority of them because most have liqueur in them. I can not have anything with alcohol due to a medical condition
