*i can't answer whether or not it will hurt, because it depends on your pain tolerance.
*it generally costs about $40 at clairs, and that includes your ear ring, the cleaning solution and the .
*you probably won't regret it, because if its done correctly, you won't be able to see the hole really once its healed. i would advise you not to go to claires because my friend went there and something went wrong with hers and now she has a big bubble looking thing on her ear where it was and will have to have it surgically removed if she wants it gone. also, when they went to do my fiances, the guy did it once, and it didn't go all the way through and he had to do it again. his ear's almost healed, but its still pretty swollen, and i don't know if that'll go down over time, or not.
go somewhere where they do it with a needle. you're not supposed to do it with a gun up there because its too traumatic to the cartilage. i would go either to a parlor (generally they do s) or to a place that specializes in .
good luck!

It depends on which Claire's you decide to get your piercing at. When I worked there my managers were adamant about training and sanitary practices. I would never do a piercing unless I made sure people knew about the maintenece of the piercing. So I ran a pretty tight ship. Not all stores are like that, but neither are some professional piercing places. You should ask some people that have had cartilage pierced where they went. Finally, yes getting cartilage piercings hurt way more than regular piercings. And they cost rougly $30 to $60 depending on what you get it pierced with, good luck!

Lots of my friends have gotten their ears done by claires....but some of them have either gotten their ears infected or the piercings dont match. I would try going to a professional....but you could always try claires if you would like!

I bought the kit at Sally's too. My husband did mine and I did my daughters. They are sterilized in the package and are very easy to use. You can sit in front of the mirror and have the person piercing for your keep placing it until you are happy with the placement and then it's just a quick pinch. Just make sure to immediately loosen the back a little and keep alcohol on when turning it each day. We didn't have any problems with ours and we love it.

they do it but all their training is is a few video and a test and tell only pierce with the gun and my piercer say with cartilage it heals better when done by hand if I where you I'd visit a few tattoo parlors and talk to their piercers and look at how they do thing and find one you feel comfortable with and get it done by a pro I know my piercer does everything but genitals for twenty buck and is very clean and helpful

i would not let them do it. basically they put a dot and get the lil gun thing.anyone at claires can do it,with little or no experience at all. So if i were you,i go somewhere else and get it done professionally. unless you trust the hands that are piercing you

I've heard that it hurts, I wouldn't do it. I've had my nose pierced, that surprisingly did not hurt.
