I like Ring of Fire also, and I'll tell you why: a few years ago we were having a patio party, no loud music or anything, and the creeps next door (rental) decided they would come out side and blast rap music on their car radios/boom boxes. So we got our stereo speakers, put Johnny in and hit "loop" on Ring Of Fire and then when we got to the "down down down" part, about 10 of us were singing it.
The boomboxes/radios went silent and they went into their house.
PARTY ON, JOHNNY, WHEREEVER YOU ARE OLD MAN!

Someday My Ship Will Sail - any gospel type song he ever did. His voice just fit that kind of music so well. The records he made with Earl Scruggs turned me on to bluegrass for life.
