it was funny..i laughed out loud enuf i guess till e ppl in frnt of me turned behind to look...luv johnny depp acting as captain jack sparrow..

I thought it was a dissapointment. It was way too long and many scenes could of been cut and maybe it could of been a decent movie. It is like they just couldnt think of a good way for the story to progress, The effects were pretty good but Orlando Bloom was underused and whiny, Johnny Depp seems to be doing a bad impression of Jack Sparrow and Keira Knightly just blended in and seems much more damsel in distress than a strong woman. The beginning needs more of a build-up especially if you had not seen the first movie. It had middle movie syndrome. No real beginning, no real end even though they said it would be a stand alone piece. The only part I kind of enjoyed was the gypsy scene and the woman that played the witch doctor/gypsy type role. The cannibal scene was pointless and the rehashing of minor characters wasnt needed. The father/son story seems contrived and forced

The Acting = Fairly impotent and lacked diversity.
The Story = It was horribly put together and contained several useless scenes.
The Dialogue = Awfully written and lacked intelligence.
The Humor = Why do people think this film is funny? The jokes were old, tiring, and lacked originality.
Money Grossed = Absolutely pathetic that such a impotent film has made over 400+ millon dollars at the box office.

That movie was SO boring and long I could NOT sit still for the entire piece of crap.
I am SO sick and tired of hearing how everybody keeps saying how great Johnny D's performance was. It WASN'T that good a movie.
And I totally agree with the poster above me. Ya hit the nail right on the head.

I too was disappointed with it. It was drawn out and boring. I snoozed thru several parts of it. The action scenes were good and seeing some of the nautical characters come to life was cool if you are a mariner/sailor as I am. Hopefully the third movie will be alot better.

I thought it was a good movie. But I didn't like the way they left such a gap between Will and Elizabeth. They had better have them make up. Cause if Jack and Elizabeth together is just yechh!

I enjoyed it. but I liked the first one better. the second one was good to me though, it was kinda fun in a fantasy/adventurous kind of way.
