This will only work if you haven't got a stolen, or acquired phone... but if you contact the provider who you got it from, you can get them to provide the unlock codes for it for free - you own the phone, as it became your property once your contract completed, and therefore, they are not legally allowed to hold you to ransom, over something that you have long since paid for.
Otherwise you will have to pay someone to do it, as there are currently no online calculators or methods of unlocking Sony phones for free.
