I have 7+ keys already and it won't let me get to the cellar! I tried gamefaqs and they don't have anything and I read other questions posted and they didn't help. I haven't found a key in the basement so that isn't the problem, but it still won't let me get there! Someone help, i'm frustrated!!

For everyone having problems getting the basement tab to light up after all 7 keys are found I figured something out after trying about 10 times today. Whatever tab is the active one, find a key and go back to the map. Sometimes another tab is now the active one, so find a key. Keep doing this and the tabs will darken as you find the keys. You fill get to a point where you find the 7th key and the basement tab should still be open. There is no set pattern like going from top to bottom or any special keys you have to find, just find them in whatever tab is active until u have 7.

let your time run out and it will give you another chance with the basement tab lit up find all seven keys then click on the basement tab and you can get to the cellar
